The ENERBASQUE HRU (Heat Recovery Unit) is a thermal machine based on the Rankine cycle, whose objective is to convert thermal waste and surplus energy from different processes into mechanical and electrical energy.

The cycle is called Organic because it uses an organic fluid (with a high molecular mass) whose change of liquid /steam phase occurs at a lower temperature than in water. Thus, HRU technology is activated from thermal sources that are over 85ºC and, according to the machine model, produces from 5 to 100 KW electricity.
